Migration Guide

History

dimmer was originally developed at Geometric Data Analytics (GDA) as an internal, closed-source tool. In 2026, ownership transferred to Michael Catanzaro, and the project was open-sourced under the MIT license.

There was no prior public PyPI release — dimmer 1.0.0 (2026-05-28) is the first public version.
